WOOHOO!!!! Well I got great news recently. When I broke up with Steph I bought her car off of her for $200. It is a 2000 cavalier, 2.2 3-speed auto. P.O.S. but for $200 cant beat it. Well the reason I got it for so cheap is because she blew the motor on it, or so I thought. So lately I have been out in the garage working on it and starting to tear it apart to see if it is rebuildable or not. After getting it half torn apart my curiousity got the best of me. I put it all back together, cleaned up the plugs (they were fouled), and hooked up a jump pack (the battery was dead). To my suprise it started and ran, rough as can be but it still ran. So now after doing a little diagnostic work I figured out that it is just the O2 sensors, the MAP sensor, and mind as well do a tune up since it needs it. That is only $200-250 in parts. Total with the price I paid for it I am looking at $400-500 for a $3000 car. Once again I say WOOHOO!!!! Hopefully in not too long I will have the parts and have it up and running like new. I figure I will keep it and drive it for awhile so I can save up for a new bike. Maybe pimp it out a little, nothing major. Just mostly cosmetic; body kit, wheels, brakes (since Im probably doing the wheels), suspension, paint, exhaust, and maybe some interior. OK well that made my day and on top of it all I was actually able to sleep last night. Accidently fell asleep at about 4 til about 9 then back asleep at 3 til about noon. Hopefully I will be able to get to sleep by 1 tonight. Maybe I can actually get onto a normal schedule now.
