The Weekend, the Blackout and the Rec
Okees everyone, I've got tons of stories to tell about all the shit that's been happening to me since last weekend. And surprisingly it's quite a bit. I'm putting each story behind cuts so that people's friends pages aren't all crazy. Here we goooo with the Weekend story.
Ok, so first of all I had been playing around with the idea of going home for the weekend, since I was stressed from schoolwork and really wanted to head home. And Jen was planning to spend the weekend with Pat, as per usual, and RayRay was complaining that she was gonna be bored. So I offered to take her with me and she said that she would. So Friday comes and RayRay had slept over the night before. So I got up and went to my Italian lab, only to find out that it was cancelled and so was my Italian class after it. I said screw it to going to English later, went back to the room and slept for a while.
By the time I had woken up, RayRay was at my compy and Jen had already left for class. So I started getting my shit together so that I could go home. And RAyRAy puts on X Japan the last live. So after I do the dishes and watch the rest of it with her, we deicide to have a hysterical crying fit. After we had composed ourselves, we were ready to head off.
So then we get home and no one is around, I say hello to my kitty and RayRay and I lounge on the new leather furniture. So after a while my dad comes home, surprised to see me there and he goes out to get food for dinner. And so Rachel and I head out to the mall. I got some manga and a pair of flip flops from Old Navy and we mostly just looked around. They didn't have the color hair dye I wanted at Hot Topic T.T
So then I'm like, I'm still bored, let's go to Toys R us and fuck around. So after we look around at all the Barbies and the action figures, ride the bikes and scooters in the bike section and play this really really random game on Nintendo DS, we were tired and ready to leave.
And that was Friday. Saturday, my mom and I started to sort through all my old videotapes to see which ones I still wanted. So I had about 12 recorded tapes that had no labels on them. And so it was Cristins and RayRay to the rescue. After 5 hours of breezing through many Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Digimon and South Park episodes, Rachel got bored and headed off to the computer while I went through the last few tapes that were unmarked.
So then it gets a little later and Rachel and I are bored again. And there is literally nothing good to do in Brookfield. So my mom suggests that we head to New Milford and go bowling. I call up the alley and ask if they have any lanes left. The guy on the phone rudely tells me that he can "find us a lane" and then asks rudely again if we are coming there. I tell him that we are and hang up. So we get there, and usually the place is packed, but there are still a lot of lanes open. And so I grab cash from the ATM and go over to the counter where there's an older guy standing there. He turns around and asks what he can do for us and I ask if we can get a lane. So the guy gets another guy who comes up behind the counter and tells us that they have to give us partial time. I say that that's ok and he gives us three games and shoes. It was really fun actually. I won one game out of three though. But they were all pretty close.
Then basically Sunday was a relaxing day while I did my laundry and then we headed back to school. We missed Con Hall so we all went down to Quiznos and got some subs. Yum.
Ok, now here's Tuesday's story:
Ok, so Tuesday morning comes and I get up as usual and head to the bathroom, when I come back Jen tells me to get dressed so that we can all head out to breakfast/lunch. While we're getting dressed, we notice that the stero makes a funny sound and that the power had surged. So we then all go to con hall to find out that the power is out there. After we get a cold crappy lunch, Jen heads to her class and Rachel and I head back to the dorm only to see that power is out there too. I decide to skip my art class, since I didn't have internet to do my sketchbook assignment anyways. And so we get super bored.
And so we head to Toys R us again. Except this time we buy Bayblades and a baystadium so that we can be like L'arc en Ciel. And then we head into Wally World and get paints to fingerpaint. After that, we head back into the room and put our bayblades together. Then we fingerpaint some and Rachel gets her painting stuck to her foot and gets gangrene.
So after that we find out that con hall is closing at 7 and the dorms are kicking us out at 7 too. So Rachel and I go to con hall cause jen's got a class and we eat, and then we meet up with her and angelina in Buley and hang out there for a little bit before going grocery shopping. Then we come back and we struggle to get our food in while rachel goes to retrive Elaine and the beystatium. LOL, so we play some more beyblades....and one of mine gets broken T.T So that's mostly my story, since power was on after that.
And here's my last story about today:
So in music class Ting asks me if Jen, Rachel and I want to go to the Milford Rec center with him and a bunch of his friends. We say that we might if we get all our information for Relay for Life. So at dinner Steph gave us the rundown about Friday and stuff. And so we head to West/Neff and grab our shit and then pile in Ting's really nice car and head to his house so that he can get sneakers on. So then he gives us a mini tour of West Haven and brings us to the Rec. So the three of us grab some tokens and start playing around on the games. I lost at most of them and the Jen and I tried DDR. We actually did really good and I was surprised. But we accidentially did Cartoon Heroes on a fast speed and I got really tired half way through and got a lower grade.
So after that we all headed to Taco Bell and got some food. I got full early so I let Anthony and Ting fight over my half of a quesidilla. After getting a lovely Taco Bell tummy ache, Ting dropped us off at West/Neff and we all headed back home.
