Today The Apocalypse Ocean launches for general sale.

Thanks to early backers, who should have all their copies, I was able to take the time to work on this book this year. Now the book is ready to roar, and I’m so. Freaking. Excited.

The Apocalypse Ocean is the 4th book in the Xenowealth Trilogy (Crystal Rain, Ragamuffin, Sly Mongoose… and now The Apocalypse Ocean) which has a five book outline and plan.

Summary:

Humanity continues to gain control of the Forty Eight Worlds as they deorbit wormholes and join the many worlds and civilizations together. But as they do so, they must deal with the horrors of past injustices as humanity forms new societies out of the wreckage of the old.

And some of those horrors aren’t content to rest. Kay, who has rescued herself from a hellish life dominated by uncaring alien creatures, seeks bloody twisted revenge for what was done to her.

And a new force is not happy about the manner in which the Forty Eight worlds are reshaping themselves. In fact, it’s about to put a stop to it all.

I’ll be talking later today about the Kickstarter, what I learned, how things went. But for now, here are details about the book itself.

A very limited number of extras of the Limited Edition hardcover can be purchased in time for the holidays. The print run was 200 copies. Most of those were pre-ordered by early backers, one very special indy bookstore, and some I’m keeping for posterity/to sell later on down the road/to pet and cackle gleefully over. The print run was not POD, but a regular, offset print run on heavy acid-free paper. I sunk some extra money to get that, and don’t regret it. I think you’ll love the result.

You can buy the hardcover *or* the eBook directly from my site store here.

The eBook is going up at the Kindle store, iBooks (processing), B&N, and Kobo (processing).

It’s amazing to be typing these words.

Lastly, if you’re a reviewer and want to review the book, you can drop me a line via tobias@tobiasbuckell.com and include your credentials, and I’ll do my best to stay organized and get you a copy.

And even more lastly, thank you to everyone who has spread the word, been excited, shared unboxing photos of your hardcovers, and backed the project.

Holy cow. Here we go.
