This is something I've always tried to work on, but more consciously since focusing on Buddhism. The letting go. Realizing that though we often place an unusual amount of emphasis on "venting" as important, it often takes on a life of its own. As if it helps a situation to be angry, to get wrapped up in a problem, to complain endlessly. We use it a lot in social interactions - many of them are based on it.
A misplaced attempt at relieving suffering.

I think it's funny how - when reading through this article, I had a "fear". One that is laughable and understandable. But strikes me as very silly. I actually thought - if I really were to release even more of these attachments - what would I have to talk about with people?
Haha! It was a very knee-jerk reaction. I'm grateful to realize these unconscious reactions, though. Sometimes we let fear make decisions for us when we don't even know.
