Precocious Child..
This morning PrincessP went to work before Abigail woke up.
I got Abigail up and dressed, and as we were walking towards the door we had this conversation...
"Mummy work?"
"Yes Abi. Mummy is at work"
"Mummy get monies?"
"Thats right."
"Then Abi go shopping"
"Maybe. Now we need to get you ready for crache so I can go to work"
"No. Daddy stay."
"No Abi, Daddy has to go to work too."
"No. Mummy work. Daddy stay. Abi-Daddy " (When it's just the two of us it's an Abi-Daddy Day).
My not quite two year old understood that we need money to buy things, and that this is why we go to work. And she reasoned that only one of us had to go to work to get "the money" (no concept of value yet). I know adults who haven't quite got this logic down.
