I MADE A FRIEND!!
i'm so excited!
i have the cutest job ever, but now it's even better b/c i have a friend! i never had a friend at smoothie king, except for brittany. and rob i guess, but that was only for one night. one sweet, sweet night. but anyway, this guy is my legit friend; he shared his pizza with me!!
this is probably no big deal, but it was the first time i didn't feel really stupid and out of place at work. we did the crossword puzzles together, and jake the driver helped us, basically it was a full team effort spearheaded by me and nick. it was really slow, so crossword was pretty much all we did all afternoon. and then we read cosmo like twelve times and i gave him the 'what do your guy's bedsheets say about him' quiz, and we smelled perfume samples and played trivial pursuit, and i beat him handily. and then he made a pizza and let me have half of it, and taught me how so i never have to ask to the scary kitchen guys to make my pizza for me again. he's a physics major, and he tried to explain robotics to me. and then james came back from his other job at starbucks and brought us a bunch of free, weird candy and other sweets, like chipotle peanut brittle, and spice truffles, and he let me have all the dark chocolate.
i know what you're thinking, and sadly, no he isn't cute. he's just a friend, and we do crosswords together. that's all. but i have a friend at work!!
