1151: Don’t know if I will find you feel my breath on your neck can’t believe I’m right behind you
First day of class.
Got up at 6:30am, took a shower, ate cereal, watched news, left a 7:40 to get to school. Got there at 8:00am. Sat in front of class and read Narcissus in Chains. Robert showed up and we talked a bit before his class started, it was good to see him, he looked okay. His father died in July, so I forgot about that until after I saw him. I am not going to bring it up though but he looked good considering.
Class was good, we got out after only 45 minutes. Medieval Thought seems to be okay. Jennifer is in the class, which is good because we both have issues with Philosophy. The teacher is young, has 3 daughters and seems approachable. We have a lot of reading. But no final, but we do have 4, 5 page papers. Which isn't that bad.
So then Jen wanted to show me her apartment. She didn't have class until 3:30 and me 1:30 and since it was like 9:15am, it was good. We went to the bookstore and the power went out as soon as we entered. I had to buy some books, I bought 1 I didn't need so I am taking it back tomorrow. I still have 3 books to buy, 2 for Civil War and 1 for English.
Jen's apartment is nice. We talked and she showed me pictures from her travels in France and other countries. She had a great time.
So then I went to meet Michelle and I ran into Allie. We ended up talking for like 30 minutes. She is trying to get all the SII seniors together before the retreat in September. We also planned to go to the movies and see HP, she still hasn't seen it, and also to talk HP7!! :) Then Vince showed up and we talked a bit. Michelle came and we went to get out Muni passes and then Andres was there and Julie and Kris. Kris hugged me and he cut off all his hair!!! But it looked good, I told him about Allie's plans. He said he wanted to go. Julie said she would call me and Andres and Vince said bye too.
Michelle and I went and got lunch before my class, she was done for the day. She said she would go to the gym with me. So that is good. I had class at 1:30pm so I had to head up to Lone Mountain. I ran into Marybeth and she said she would call me so we could talk about HP and starting a club at USF. Julie called too and we decided to meet in between classes next week and Sam wanted to come and see us as well.
Class was good. I ran into History majors I knew, mainly Drew and Jasmine. Jasmine and I talked, she was in England the same time I was and went to Budapest as well which was freaky as well :) So class was good, we got out really early in there too. Civil War will be cool cause it is Professor Fels. The class is lecture/discussion so it will be good. We have 2 tests (midterm and final) and 1, 8-10 page paper.
After class I went and dealt with financial aid, got that taken care of and then I had to got to a bunch of offices to get rid of some charges on my account from last semester. They charged me for a muni pass and activity fee when I wasn't here, so I finally got that settled with Barbara, and I made an appt. to see Vargas so I can make sure I will be fine for graduation in May but it might be December '08, if I can't fit everything in next semester. I also got a meal plan cause my dad wanted me to, $1,750, which is outrageous!! So then I ran into another Allie and we talked for a bit and I walked her to her class and then I walked home to Pedro, which took 10 minutes. I had a package and my roommate officially moved out. I got Bourne Identity and Eddie Izzard: Circle on DVD so that was exciting. I am going to get ahead in work this weekend, which will be great cause this first week there isn't a lot of work but soon there will be!!
Walking to class tomorrow, it is at 9:40am-12:25pm, so it is a long class. But it is only once a week. I also got my last check from SGH: $288.00, I was excited!! :)
Well better get to work, homework that is. ttyl.
