The waiting game.

Sep 20, 2005 21:42

It's just not late enough to work I say. It's only, what, 9:43pm? My muse doesn't start working until 11pm, up until then I can do all the technical this and that required when setting up a document, but hardly anything innovative.

I have to finish this freelance job tonight. I just don't have the heart in it anymore. The pressure to do something "fabulous" has created a half mediocre design which I cringe to put my name on. But I will. This pro bono work is all about the circulation, I'm just a little dissapointed in the fact that I didn't rise to the occasion. Well, I have gotten some free tickets to cultural events around town, and that's nothing to scratch yer snatch at. Classy.

By Thursday, I'll have all my freelance jobs delivered and in the past. After work on Friday, I'll enjoy my first true moment of free time. I will fill this moment with some artsy dance performance. And it better be good damnit. Hell, it's free.

End of Self indulgant rant/ramblings.
