I hardly know her!
Are any of you guys poker players? (Other than bigkgbguy and plumb_crazy, obviously.) Chris and I are having a little poker at our house this Saturday at 2:00. It'll be tournament-style Texas Hold 'em, which means it's a $25 buy-in, but then you're probably playing for 2-4 hours (unless you go all madness plumb_crazy style and go all in on the second hand and get knocked out (sorry, Eric. :) )). Maybe we'll even play a second game later if enough people have the strength for it.
The people we play with tend to be fairly casual, which means that while it would be good to know generally how to play poker, you don't have to be some kind of expert. Refresher courses and cheat sheets on what beats what are available.
If you are interested, let me know. We need to be pretty clear on how many people are coming so we know how many tables to set up. And if you come, you must drink random alcohol and eat frozen taquitos, because these are the things we're trying to get rid of that are left over from Memorial Day.
