He BLARED Elliot Smith?
Wednesday... Both my parents were gone so my mom got her freinds son to drive me to sailing. This guy picked me up around 12:30 with Elliot Smith blaring in his car. He BLARED Elliot Smith? I liked him straight away. The sailling wednesday was good. I also got to name my boat (Super Rad). Than my mom's freind whos little boy was in summer camp gave me a ride home while it poureeed. Like it hasnt rained that hard all year. Once it cleared up (and after a nice shower) I biked over to Terri's. Where we walked down to the Movie Store/Tuttles/Mcdonalds. After eating we picked up Steve and rented Carrie (not the Sissy Spacik version but the redone one, where Carrie looks like my coach Mora) and DreamCatcher. Wiiierd movies.
Thursday... So I went sailing again. The Wayzata kids came over with thier boats for the regatta on friday. This is when I discovered that I was screwed because Bill and Matt where both sailing 420s against me (opposed to thier lasors) and that mean I will automatically come in 2 places behind where I should. Than I went to sail Capri 25s with my dad, uncle and grandfather. At the start I saw The Siemers (Bill) on Collage Fund (a J-22) where Bill pointed and laughed at me.
Friday... The regatta started out nicely with Jagger, Will and I arriving first and getting our usual boats (Jagger in D to the F to the L Word. Will in the Raging Peanut and me in Super Rad.) Than when Bill, Matt, and Bill's entire family arrived I discovered why Bill was laughing at me. Because I was on a Capri 25. Thats where it started. Bill and Matt the entire Wayzata team to point and laugh and paid Bill's little brother to point and laugh at me all day. During the Skippers meeting all the 420s from Wayzata stared me down. I suppose thats where the rivalry between the 2 teams started and I got caught in the middle. Matt got all pissy wiht Frank and Will so they threatened to protest them for bad sportsmanship. To get Frank and Will back Bill protested them even though he was guarenteed his name on the trophy. It was a big mess. My entire team was pissed off at Bill and Matt. I wasn't so much for I knew they were just kidding around with me. I think Bill was just getting me back for crack comment last friday. Upon our team bitchin' out Bill in the Burton room, Liz, Bill's little sister went and told Matt for she was in there the entire time. After the regatta resumed Matt and Bill were sailing extremely agressive. The only boat its seemed that they didn't bother was us. He just yelled yiddish words at me like in New Orleans this past november. His dad, Ross also found fun in mocking me and my hair by always going "Alex, in the strange hair, Whats the course" every start over his megaphone. Well, we ended up in 6th (out of 16) which is better than our 11th last week. If we get a 3rd in the next regatta we automatically metal in the TCY for drastic in provement.
