The ring
For the curious, here's my engagement ring:
It's a platinum eternity band with diamonds all around. It's so simple and classy, I love it. My knuckles tend to be big, so when I get rings on they tend to spin around and the stone ends up on the palm side. Not a problem with a band! Plus it's so nice to not have a stone get snagged when I put on lab gloves.
I find that my fingers are swollen in the morning and getting the ring off can be a pain. But by the evening my fingers are small and it's easier to pull it off. Huh.
