Well, it's Friday morning which means that shortly, I'll be off for North Carolina. I finished Pat's cards, (one for everyday I'm gone) last night and woke up early this morning so I could drive him to school and give him his present, the card, a sobe green tea, and sour patch watermelons.
I opened the card he gave me as soon as I dropped him off and drove off school property and just bawled, because it was pictures of us and my hair ribbons and tickets to movies/shows we went to all stapled on it. *sniffles* yeah...it made me miss him a lot but it made me love him too. Now I just have to finish packing my stuff, I smuggle PeeWee into my gear bag.
Larry says you can get cellphone reception from the top of the 600 ft cliff, so I think I'll attempt to call Pat from there. Yup.
