A little more about this mix.

Well, it's finally done. This mix is a couple months in the making, and I've spent countless hours tweaking, listening, and tweaking again. This is the first mix I've created with a program called Ableton Live, as opposed to Mixmeister, the program I have used to make every mix I have ever made up until this point.

It's also a bit more hip-hop heavy than my other mixes, but that is largely because the target audience is mostly people who go to school with me in Seattle, and there is more interest for this kind of music overall. There is still a bit of dance, and I really think that you will appreciate the hip hop, because the selections are good. Throughout the course of the mix's 55 minutes, it moves through about 50 songs, some mashed up with others, some playing by themselves, and some that just have small things like a beat added to them by me for increased danceability. It's intended to be a dance mix, like everything else I've released, and I'd like it to be treated as such. Some of the remixes and mashups in the mix I made myself, some I didn't, but that's not really the point. I'm a DJ, and the point is to make everyone want to dance as much as possible. When you listen to this mix I hope it makes you want to shake your ass until early in the morning. :)

Enjoy :)
