A Summary of Potential Future Projects

Regarding Robots
She's my favorite machine, I never even turn her off.

A couple in love is split repeatedly, able to see each other only once in a long while, and one has no long term memory (a damaged robot, maybe?). They have to--get to--start over every time.

A day at the factory.

Robot girl's face gets damaged and replaced, mistaken-identity hilarity ensues, coupled with existential crisis. Has the old 'her' died? Where does her self reside, if she's got one?

On Religion
The birth of David to a young lady who claims to be virgin: a retelling of the Jesus story in modern times, OR the second coming is subtler than we thought, OR it's just a kid named David.

A concept EP: a teenage girl's first overwhelming experience with a well-placed Catholic mass, followed by her subsequent crisis of faith, rejection of God, and ultimately taking him back in pieces for pragmatic reasons. Structured in parallel with Side B, the tale of a boy who became a rock and roller, rode the roller coaster, and burnt out in some weary drag alley running full speed with a needle in each arm until he fell down dead.

Starting from the notion that creativity stems from disease.

The Postmodern Side
Jimmy's Record: an album of songs written and performed in single takes by a fictional character. The focus of the album is on the dialogue in the mixing room, the reasons the musician screws up and starts over, the outbursts, the failures. An intentionally mediocre recording.

The Critic: a series of self-critical songs intended to dissect myself from different angles. Probably factual.

The Devil Record: a scrappy rock-and-roll album whose “subliminal messages” are the main attraction, and in narrative form to boot.

Other Things
I knew someday our love would die, so I wrote to preserve it in strangers' minds.

Eroticism for the Obsessive Compulsive: a ballet dancer's restrained decline into the carefullest career in organized vice.

What made Andy Warhol cry?

A small sailing boat's song of love for a pretty little boat moored at his dock.

A hip-hop tune spoken from the perspective of a dad approaching middle age. A self-righteous ego chant about trying to connect to the younger generation.

She was dead to me. But when I saw her face again, I realized that I am a necrophiliac.

Franz, please. Forget your dreams. We will not put you in the justice machine. (A Kafka fairy tale)
