Okay, so, like, i mean... man. Overall i thought the ep was kind of... lame? A lot? (a whole episode about boxing? FOR REAL?) But i was weeping for like the last five minutes, SO. There's that.
I just... GOD. That was like the most fanfic-y YET AWESOME explanation for the Lee/Kara rift! Thus i cannot believe it happened but i am so glad it did. And it wasn't the kissing or the sex that got me (although... WHAT HOW WHEN WHO WHAT?!?!?!) but the GIDDILY YELLING INTO THE NIGHT THAT THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. The most entirely happy and honest they have ever ever been together, and it made me SAD because it was so joyous/long-awaited/SHORT-LIVED.
Gosh, Kara, you are such a darn jerk.
And man, then once it got super depressing they had to go and edit in all those flashbacks to every shippy moment on the show! THAT WAS JUST MEAN. And pretty sappy. DUDE I DON'T THINK THIS EPISODE SHIPPED KARA AND LEE HARD ENOUGH.
Anyway, the "I missed you"s once they were done killing each other were just the icing on the cake. The cake of tears. Those two are really depressingly fucked up, DID YOU KNOW?
LEE ADAMA LOVES KARA THRACE AND KARA THRACE LOVES LEE ADAMA. WHILE THEY'RE NAKED. AND DRUNK.
Additionally: i love Helo, Bill and Laura are adorable (MOM AND DAD), Lee Adama is the saddest boy who ever lived, Kara's tiny "hee!" after yelling that she loves Lee was the cutest thing in existence, i didn't know there were colonial hoedowns, Bill Adama is always teaching us valuable lessons!, and hey guess what Dualla Billy really loved you too bad you threw it away for Lee who has too many issues the most major of which being that he loves Kara the most.

Oh man i am PRETTY UPSET about this whole "hey so Aang got like attacked through the chest there in the Avatar State AND HEY YEAH HE MAYBE HAD A SLIGHT CASE OF DEATH POSSIBLY BREAKING THE AVATAR CYCLE FOREVER OKAY SEE YA!" Uhm... WHAT. I always kind of thought, yeah, they brought up that important bullet point and all, but he's totally all-powerful in the Avatar State so who could kill him THEN, RIGHT? They can't actually GO THERE, RIGHT? WRONG. I don't know. I don't know. And how does that even WORK, if the Avatar cycle is broken? Obviously he can't go into the Avatar State because that involves using all the power of all the previous Avatars who he's now broken off from, but does that mean... can he even BE the Avatar anymore? Does that power even continue to EXIST? I DON'T KNOW.

Hey i was actually terrified thinking about the Zutarian response to that cave scene! TERRIFIED. Avatar fandom, why are you... the way that you are? I hate so much about the things that you choose to be. BUT ANYWAY NO MATTER BECAUSE AANG AND KATARA ARE TOTALLY IN LOVE FOREVER TIMES INFINITY! Also, Katara looks very pretty with her hair down.
IROOOOOOOOOOOH. I so hope this means Iroh will be hanging out with the Gaang and teaching Aang firebending and drinking tea with Toph and oh man Iroh can be all "I BREATHE FIRE" and Toph can be all "I BEND METAL" and then they can laugh and laugh and laugh. BFF!!!!!!!!!!!
