And now for the conclusion of my Firefly picspam! Golly jeepers, if you think the series is pretty, get a load of the MOVIE. I took 1778 caps, and to give you a frame of reference, i usually take about 300-500 caps for movies. ............Uh. This was more like "OH MY GOD THE SHADOW ON SIMON'S FACE MOVED A QUARTER OF A CENTIMETER! CAP! A STRAND OF RIVER'S HAIR VAGUELY SHIFTED NEAR HER EYELASHES! CAP! THE CORNER OF MAL'S MOUTH TWITCHED! CAP!" I tried not to include anything too overtly spoilery in this post, but it's still, uhh, the whole movie in order. So if you STILL haven't seen Serenity (???!!??) and REALLY don't want to know about, er, pretty people looking down, then, you know, spoiler alert. Oh, and don't read my comments afterward either. If you really don't want to know. Seriously. Spoilers. (yes, i am still paranoid about spoiling people! but there are ALWAYS stragglers when it comes to Firefly. and the movie is stiiiiiiill neeeeew.) ANYWAY! Pictures! Right!
Would it be entirely too pathetic for me to admit that i cried even while CAPPING the movie? But... WASH. And thinking of Joss's commentary after Simon gets shot, talking about Summer crying too much during the filming of that scene- that fucking kills me. I actually had to take a break to go wash my face and blow my nose after the funeral scene. UHM, IT'S NOT LIKE I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE.
Also, it's possible that i'm the LAST PERSON EVER to notice this and i just missed the memo, or maybe it really is news, i don't know. But Mal's [HOT] scars- which i just assumed were from the war or any various, common incidences of fisticuffs, gunplay, and stabbing- are ACTUALLY FROM SPECIFIC INJURIES IN THE SERIES. No shit! I am SLOW.
