But no, he shot HIMSELF in the leg so she could get away. Now that's love. But what the crap, we didn't get to find out why he was in Sydney either! The flashbacks weren't even the recent past. Of course, i'm sure we'll get more backstory later, but i want to knooooooow.
Hey, the French Lady! I knew it was going to be her. Well, i mean, the preview made it REALLY REALLY obvious. Actually, when Sayid got knocked out, that scenario briefly crossed my mind, but i was like "naaaaaaah, that's too far-fetched!" I've really got to stop discarding my theories because i think they're too far-fetched. It's LOST. The people are STRANDED on an ISLAND with DINOSAURS and POLAR BEARS and MAGIC. Anyway, so she's just gonna go back to being by herself? But she made friends with Sayid! That's not right. Oh, dude, the rifle stand-off? AWESOME. And, uh, when we first saw her, when she stepped into the light, my first thought was "...Irina?" HAHAHAHHAJGDLKGADFLKAF i'm retarded.
GOLF!! The golf was... my favorite thing ever. I was looking forward to them doing some more lighthearted stuff once they had been there a while. And it was SO CUTE. Jack and Michael deciding what club to use fucking cracked me up. And Hypochondriac Guy! The Jack/Michael/Charlie/Hurley boys' club! BRILLIANT. Sawyer actually showing up and being accepted was highly adorable. And Boone and Shannon! (he called her PRINCESS! She called him DUMBASS! And BONEHEAD! Boone+Shannon4eva!) They're all just so cute when they're happy. Jack! Playing golf! Not acting like it's the end of the world! My heart, it is a-flutter.
Kate staring down the beach waiting for Sayid was sweeeet. She miiiiiiiisses him. (oh! I just realized! Sayid + criminal with a heart of gold! HEY.) It was pretty funny when Jack got all fed up tending to Sawyer's bandages as soon as he mentioned Kate. He's such a temperamental little girl. That was like the equivalent of saying "yeah, well... you're STUPID!" as a comeback. Hey, guess what, Jack! The reason Sawyer taunts you? Is because it KEEPS WORKING.
