You have to love the villain!
I enjoyed watching the new Harry Potter film yesterday morning. The Battle of Hogwarts was well done and I was very emotionally involved in it. That may be because I re-read the book recently so everything was fresh in my mind.
I must say that I love Voldemort! I have thoroughly enjoyed his appearances in the books and films. He is such a powerful figure and an excellent manipulator. His softly spoken manner made him feel all the more dangerous as well.
I find characters like that very intriguing to observe and, let's face it, without decent villains you don't really have much of a story! Without a quality villain like Voldemort, there is nothing for the good guys to overcome.
So, here is my shout out for all the quality villains as our stories would be dull without them!
