it's been some time...
But this definitely deserves an update...
So today was pretty cool. The Jazz Combo recital went awesome! It was really, really fun! So after tearing down, and hauling everything back to the CA I went over to the house for some adult swim viewing which was very enjoyable. After my cold walk across campus I start to walk down my hall and my roommate is coming down from the other way. He comes in and tells me that he's moving out...Mind you...it's 10:40pm and I was very ready for sleep (I still am...) so I was sort of like, "WTF?" Whatever though...It means I have the room to myself for sure for the rest of the semester!! I'm pretty excited for that. ::crosses fingers:: Hopefully I don't end up with a roommate...that'd be the bomb diggity x 981398118! So yeah...that was part of my excitement for the evening. Back to jazz combo! It went really well. All of our tunes went great and our soloing was quite excellent! Aftewards my sax teacher came up and said we should definitely work on some jazz in lessons in the near future. I'm glad my first impressions on him as far as my jazz playing paid off! Hehe...Hopefully this means that my hopes of switching to the Jazz Studies/Performance major aren't that far out of reach!! ^____^ I'm quite excited at the moment...in a very tired sort of way :p Anyways...until next time...adieu!!
