so how about an update?
So the past couple days have been pretty good. Had a quiz in theory on Friday, I'm pretty sure I did pretty well on it. Made some dumb mistakes and whatnot but overall it was good. After that I pretty much spent the afternoon and evening in the dorm just hanging around and trying to let my body rest for marching band. Woke up at 7:30am Saturday so I could be up and ready to march the homecoming parade. Yay for rain...ugh. The parade wasn't too bad, gotta love drunks lining the streets, haha. After that it started pouring as we were all walking back so that was a hoot. Went to McDonalds with Kim, John, Alex and Molly for some lunch inbetween parade and football game fun times. Damn that was tasty. Then it was off to the football game. Thankfully the rain had let up while we were at McDonalds. The football game was really fun. Good times in the stands with the other band folks, awesome game (Whitewater dominated Platteville, muwhaha), and our halftime and postgame performances went really well. However, the game lasted a hell of a lot longer because of all the homecoming shit so I didn't get done until damn near 5. So after getting all my shit together I headed back home with my parents. It was nice to finally come home and see them and my kitties and just be home. It's been almost 5 weeks since I had seen them. Also got to hang out with Sam!!!!!!!! ^____^ Definitely made my day! She made me the most amazing gift in stained glass...I can't wait until I actually get it! ::sigh:: I love her ever so much. Today has been a pretty blah day, since it's a blah day outside. I'm looking forward to a real home cooked meal this evening!!! and then I get on a bus and head back to Whitewater for another two weeks until I come home the first week in November. I'm so glad that there are only two more football games and then the banquet and marching band is then officially over! ^__^ This week we only have rehearsal Wednesday and Friday and then the game on Saturday and then we have a WEEK OFF!!!! Then one more game and we're done!!!! Muwhahaha. Anyways, this has become quite the long post so I better stop now before my head explodes...until later, adieu!
