(no subject)
I don't really know how to summarize today...waking up to find out that 5 people died on their trip back home from state marching just isn't what one would expect to wake up to. I feel so bad for the entire Chippewa Falls community. That bands very important to them up there, it's pretty much a part of everything that goes on up there...and now they're without their director of some 20 years...it's just so sad...especially the fact that my college was the one hosting state...kind of leaves me feeling like we're at fault for making them drive all this way and having this happen...however, we didn't have any control over that...but it still kind of hits me that way.
Enough about that though...it's been on my mind all day and will continue to be...
After a shower, some t. woods and some tv watching I got lunch and then went and practiced for an hour which was pretty relaxing. Came back, and talked to Sam which is always nice, and then got some dinner and came back and talked to Sam some more! Hehe. Also finished up some WOTA homework and most of my theory stuff so I should be set for tomorrow. I just have to go visit the art gallery and I'll be set for WOTA...yay!
I really wish my neck would feel completely better...oh well...hopefully in the morning...
This week is looking to be a little less stressful since we don't have marching rehearsal all week, so I'm hoping my body gets a chance to heal over the next 2 days so I can be ready to march the rest of the week.
