Welp, this week flew by in my opinion...that's definitely a good thing. Makes the time until I finally get to see Sam again seem a lot shorter. =/ Oh how I miss her =( I'm hoping the next two weeks seem to fly by just as much as this week becuase then state will be upon us which means I get to see her!! yay! In other news...marching band is going really well. We learned the entire second drill and put it together with music in three days. Pretty sweet! Land of Make Believe is so frickin' awesome. (fuck yeah "gopher in a blender" move!!) All of my other ensembles and small groups are going well too. Jazz seminar is actually going to have a concert so that should be neat. Jazz lab is really fun, it's so open-ended with what we can do with the songs. Plus, we're planning on doing "Lush Life" in the same style as John Coltrane did it...yeah, I'm excited as hell, hehe. Chamber Winds is cool, playing Shostakovich's "Folk Dances" which we played like...sophomore year. I love that song! Sax quartet is also going well, we're a little lazy but whateva, it'll be cool when we get it all together. Other than that, classes have been going well. I dunno, not much to really update on there...anyways, I don't know what I'm doing this weekend, guess we'll have to see what comes up. Until next time, adieu!
