WHERE DO I EVEN START, KAY? I think you know this, but the best fic that I've read by you yet was Oh Two Hundred Hours. I mean, the flow, the moments, the emotions, the gravity of situations and their consequences and THE CHARACTERISATION, UGH.

Reading that fic, especially your Toye, I think back to my attempts at him and they feel woefully lacking. Obvs your approach in understanding the characters work; they do, you've got some of the best handle I've seen, y'know? AND IT'S INSPIRING, REALLY.

You said to me that you took a different approach with that fic. If that was the outcome, please keep using that approach.

Another thing that I really admire is the fact that you're not shy in tackling gritty issues. Like with Toye's missing limb, or PSTD; it's a lot harder to address these things, and that's probably why it's usually tactfully/respectfully avoided in a lot of cases (a lot, not all). So it's really brilliant to read someone who will say it like it is, and put it in a way that's realistic and respectful♥

Also, and I'm pretty sure I've said this to you on several occasions, but how you handle imagery. It's so easy to clutter things up with it, but you just seem to have this natural balance. Your writing doesn't read cluttered, it doesn't read awkward, it just flows. :))
