Dream theater.. Woot.... ish..
Hey guys. got to see Dream Theater last night at the Pilladium. It was really nice to see a few guys from Berklee that I haven't seen a while too. I guess DT has been touring with "Yes" for a while, and because Yes decided to take the night off for some reason, DT decided to do a show in short notice at the Pilladium, and I scored a ticket through a friend to check it out. I didn't get to see a damn thing the entire time because I managed to stand behind 5 of the tallest and largest guys inside the entire friken building. But I got to 'listen' to Blind by Noon open for DT, which I thought was 'rincreadibly spriffy' to go scooby-doo style on y`all. Looks like BBN got some nice recognition lately, to open up for DT.. ( SEE JEFF!! I TOLD YOU THAT SP COULD HAVE MADE IT SOMEWHERE ESPECIALLY IF BLIND BY NOON GOT TO OPEN FOR DREAM THEATRE!!!!! WTFZORS!!!!!! )
anywho.. after the first hour for BBN, another half hour of standing commensed waiting for DT, then another 2 hours of DT playing followed suit. wee... so much standing in one spot.... behind walls of flesh... I spent $44 to stand and listen to a live mix CD of Dream theater while watching a lightshow basically, because even after the 3 guys who were initially in my way takeing up my horizontal perephrial vision moved out of the way, one BIG guy managed to lube himself up and squeeze himself out of nowhere to stand in front of me, takeing up the same amount of perephrial vision as the 3 previous tall 'sods'..... oh well.. got to nod my head with my eyes closed not being able to entirely decipher what high pitched squeek-O was saying through half of the words. Its all good though... He's the only guy that could really pull off doing lyrics for that particular bands music.
