And in the most highly contested race of the evening, CNN manages to come from behind and claim the title of "Dumbest Use of Space-Age Technology EVER."

That was pretty much my initial reaction. Then I got depressed. Why is all the stuff sci-fi predicted for the future turn out to be so lame? I mean cloning was supposed to create wacky evil twins and instead we get identical copies of sheep, who are pretty much all identical to begin with. Instead of robot maids we get Roomba. And now we have holograms, but are they used to send secret messages to the rebel alliance? No. We use them to interview rappers about their political views. And where the hell are the flying cars?!? We were promised flying cars. Oh future, why are you so lame?

There are too evil clone twins! The government made them and when they turned out to be evil the destroyed all the records. Fortunately, some of them escaped before they were executed. Now we just need to wait for an eccentric, seemingly crazy person to run into one of them and track down the original owner of the DNA (who has no idea the government used him/her in their experiment, of course)and they will go on an adventure to find out how the evil twin came to be.
As for the hologram; someone needs to photoshop him in a jedi robe.
