Another year, another start at life, right?

Well, yes. Quite a few of the boys' tennis clubs from private schools around Kantou (and a few of their... stowaways, such as Tachibana-san's sister) are now on a cruise ship, heading around the world. Exciting ne? We get to spend kami-sama knows how long on a luxury liner travelling the world, doing whatever we want...

But what about school? Don't the seniors have to be starting High School soon? And I'll be needing to study for my entrance exams. I won't be able to do that without teachers and things. Not to say that I enjoy school, because would I really be a teenaged boy if I said I enjoyed getting up in the morning to go and be lectured for 7 hours? No, I don't. Another thing: What will become of Japanese tennis if most of the schools who made it to Nationals at our level just suddenly drop off the map? Hiyoshi-kun was supposed to be the captain this year and hopefully I would be fukubuchou. Some people actually need one of those..., and despite the fact that he, Kabaji and I are the only three left who were previously regulars, its not as if the club is without promise! Also, I didn't know exactly how long we would be going on this little "vacation" for, and now I don't have my violin! Buchou says that the band on the ship could loan me one, undoubtedly, but it wouldn't be my violin.

Okay, so maybe I'm rambling. But I'm kind of nervous, and yet still pretty excited. The rooms haven't been assigned yet, and we're sharing them, so that makes me kind of nervous. I wouldn't want to room with anyone other than Shishido-san someone I don't know or couldn't like...

Oh yes, and Happy New Year!

Strikeouts were never there. You saw nothing. Backdated to yesterday morning.
