holy crap.
today was amazing. PLEASE READ THIS AND KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!
this is what we cut through the tall grass and trees with / haha :)
well, i came home from school. and my brother's friend, spencer came home with us. spencer is so freakin awesome. theyre both in 7th grade but theyre awesome boys. anyway, for the first time in foreverrrrr, since i was little, we played outside. we cut down trees and climbed fences and went into secret buildings!! and we played in the grass and ran really fast. WE CLIMBED TREES! i tried to climb without shoes and so i got stuck because when i would try to get down it would hurt my feet. but it was awesome. i forgot how BEAUTIFUL creation was when you're IN it, holding onto it because you're scared to get back on the ground. :) i evntually got down though.
then for the 1st time , also, in forever, my mom called us in for dinner andw e had to wash our hands. and we ate so fast. and then we ran back outside! and we played AROUND the pool because it was too cold to get in it. except spencer jumped in in his underwear. haha i laughed so hard. then we sunbatheddddd in our clothess. and it was awesome. then we went back inside and spencer left.
But i still wanted to play outside so i decided i would go running. so i put on sweatpants, jacket, and my converses and my brother went with me.
and this is the actual 1st time me and and my brother have not fought and ad\ctually enjoyed being around each other in forever. It was just like when we were little it was awesome. :)
So he went outside with me, this was like 50 minutes ago. it was dark out. and colllllllld. and i wanted to climb another tree. so we found this really cool one. and it took me at least 15 minutes to climb. it was so scary.
Then i thought, "wow, i wanna play guitar right here and now and worhsip". so my brother ran back inside and got my acoustic. and we both sat up in the tree, looking at the stars. and singing praises to the One who gave us such an amazing day and gives us hope for tommorrow. :) and now what my brother said? he said this, "Heather, this gives me peace. we need to do this more often. i really liked how we were today. i feel like your my friend. i want to do this more often. " :):):) it was sooo awesome. and we sang good songs too. and we sang to the top of our lungs. woweeee. God is so good.
How GREAT is my(OUR) God!
i forgot how beautiful My Creator was. I felt like a little girl again. I felt like a child. Like Christ's child. :) and I've never ever ever been so happy. I could just, sing of Him forever. He is the famous one. and for the rest of my life, I want to shine the spotlight on Him. I want to bring glory to Him in all that I say and do. because He IS GOD! He is the famous one! not me!! He's just so wonderful. :)
