At least it's not monotonous?
Good news and bad news today.
Good: I have two job interviews later this week! Both are for positions with child care centers/preschools. Both are in the area. Yay for possible sources of further income. In addition, Roommate is moving out-- yaaaaay!
Bad: Roommate told me today with no real warning that she'll move out in about a week. Wouldn't be so bad, 'cept without asking me she cancelled our cable. It will be cut off in one week. (I pay electric and she pays cable, so clearly my opinion doesn't count.) And if that's not bad enough, she's taking all of the furniture in our living room with her. It's hers, so she can do that, but now I have a week to find new furniture. And finally, she's found a subleaser for the apartment who will be moving in before I get a chance to meet/approve of her.

My mind is swirling. I need cable, internet, and furniture in a week.
And that's if I want to stay here. Maybe I'll get a gig in Boston. Maybe I just want to move to a bug-free apartment. Can I afford a bug-free apartment? What kind of a job will I get? Can I afford internet and cable? Will New Mystery Roommate be part of an anti-TV, internet hating cult?
I don't want to buy furniture! I'm getting the hell out of here in one fucking year. Do I really want to lug a sofa to grad school? FUCK NO.
Today I lose my head.
