Oh Screw That

I had a cranky spell. I think my inner seven-year-old's blood sugar got low or something. Or maybe I just needed to blog about picking my nose.

Today, however, is turning out quite pleasantly. Could be because my midterms are OVER!!! Impending spring breakness isn't bad either. And tomorrow I get to see my beloved dearest darlingest Zen on a fabulous IKEA trip of bliss! It's not just any IKEA trip, it's the IKEA trip upon which we buy my extra-girly big-girl bed for the tiny house!

Wow, those were a lot of exclamation marks.

Updates on interesting things:

-I signed the lease for the tiny house. I'm not looking forward to the miniscule bedroom that goes with it, but I can't wait to live in a place that feels more like home.
-I had a big interview ta-da for grad school last Friday. It was scary, but I think I did well. There are six candidates and they will choose three or four. I'm supposed to hear from them next week. The professor I work for says she thinks I'll get in, which is comforting.
-Got my third and final HPV shot. Just try me, cervical cancer, I dare you.

Today reminds me of long, lazy days spent in the library at my old school. I'd be stuck on campus for hours upon hours until Mom could give me a ride home, so I'd curl up in a chair by a window with a pop and read. Outside of the library, my life was kind of miserable, but until the minivan came to pick me up, it almost didn't matter.

grad school, happy, zen
