I watched CNN reporters discuss casualties in front of the hospital where I was born today. Interviews in front of the building where my mom works, where we had my graduation party.

So far, I don't know anyone who has died. I'm lucky.

It just doesn't feel real. Why DeKalb? I feel like I should go home, but I don't know what good it would do.

I just can't believe it. It happened in DeKalb.
