[Well, if you ran into Ammy earlier, you would have seen her staring at the bubble. And see her thinking about herself and the bubble. And that appears in the thought bubble in the thought bubble. And that goes on long enough to make a person cross-eyed ( Read more... )

[Ah-- Ammy. That's...the wondering of mother's day in her bubble, awww.

How can he just leave that? He knows the legend just as well as she does, and piecing things together from both her looking at the shop sign labeled "Mother's Day" and the thought bubble, he thinks he might have an idea of what's going on.

So, bubble trailing after him, filled with very faint, quiet murmurs--perhaps they could be blamed on his Personas, but for now they're rather nondescript and unreadable--Minato approaches.]

Ammy? Ah...I forgot that today is Mother's Day.

[But what IS mother's day? A few big question marks appear in the bubble over the phrase.]

[Ahhh. He understands now. A smile and a nod.]

You've never celebrated it, then? It's a day to celebrate mothers, and give thanks for all that they do for us.

['Not that I--' He shakes his head, quietly amused, and the thought skitters off and becomes another. 'But Amaterasu is...']

I imagine we could all celebrate Mother's Day for you.

[A thought drifts by--'I'm not sure that'd be a good idea...']

[oh, time differences, right. Well. Didn't think about that one.]

Back home, there are age limits for when people can begin to drink alcohol, mostly to keep minors safe, I think.

[Huh? Don't worry, Ammy will keep an eye on you and make sure you don't hurt yourself.]

[Ammy are you trying to get him drunk--]

Well...I suppose it couldn't hurt. At the very least, we could celebrate for you. Did you have something in mind?

[How else do you party, man.

And she tilts her head. She doesn't think there's a fireworks guy around here.]

[Fireworks...? That seems a bit elaborate.]

I don't know of a place where we could get fireworks either. I wonder if they would have them in a city that's underwater.

If you'd like to celebrate, we should find supplies, right?

[We can get a sake barrel and a bunch of people to drink! The party just grows from there.]

[He really can't see this ending well, and his bubble reflects his uncertainty.]

We could try the marketplace? Did you have some people in mind to invite?
