Incubus and Sparta FUCKING ROCKED! Man, yesterday was awesome, sans the tornadoes and destruction and stuff. My sister was driving on I-74 coming from Bloomington back to her house in Goodfield and she said that she looked above her and saw the funnel cloud churning, and that some little white whispy clouds that were floating by got sucked right up into it.

After the storms had more or less subsided, my dad and I hopped into the truck to go and check out Parsons. The cops had 116 going east out of town blocked off, so we took some backroads over to 117, and then went north. We came within a mile of the building, but we had to turn due to a police blockade. The destruction was incredible...debris was strewn everywhere through the cornfield. It was almost as if a bomb had gone off inside the building. It was an absolute miracle that no one got killed or injured.

But anyway, back to the concert. I went with Kevin O'Shea and Duncan Blickenstaff. We went to Avanti's and then to the show, where we ran into Jesse's little sister Keely and her friend Miccah. Those bastards had floor tickets. I had my camera on me and security was frisking, so we devised a clever plan in which my camera rested against Kevin's stomach behind his belt buckle. Security frisked his stomach region, but didn't find the camera. So, during Sparta, which was great, I sat on the opposite end of the arena from Kevin and Duncan. When Sparta played their last song, "Air," I reached into my pocket to snap a pic. However, security saw me and like three or four guards headed towards me. I tucked the camera behind my back and sat there calmly, and as soon as Sparta was done, I bolted. I ended up standing over by Kevin and Duncan during Incubus, because these jackasses next to me were Sparta-haters and pissed me off. I ran into Brittany there as well...she was there with Hagan, Danielle, and Faye. I didn't see Breitbarth or Tony, however.

All in all, yesterday turned out to be really great. Both Incubus and Sparta were great live. And after the concert, the three of us went over to where the loading docks are and saw Brandon Boyd and DJ Kilmore. Brandon walked out with a bag of Tostitoes in his mouth, and Kevin kept asking for them. I snapped some pics of Brandon, but the lighting was kinda bad, so yeah.

Well kids, if you want to see some of the pictures I took yesterday, go to http://www.geocities.com/mxc_captain_tenneal/index.html
