Aeotearoa to smog!
We've had Thursday the 31st of May twice, almost in its entirety. At one point we were having lunch in LA having had lunch in Auckland at exactly the same time on the same day... weird!
Anyway we've arrived safe, sound and shattered! Internet is a bloody rip off here so only the essential info gathering for now (sorry about lack of emails this week to all involved).
LA is sunny, smoggy, and the wind chill is biting, only about 16C at the mo, but nice to walk along Venice Beach and along to Santa Monica (it is as far as it looks on the map)... but its nice, and we're planning lots of nice things to do with our week, including staying on Hollywood Blvd, just seconds away from the action, seeing Jay Leno, Seeing some Gehry architecture, bex being a geek and going to the play RWAC was shot (yay for james dean), and the MOCA! all in all a cultured week we think, if it works, that is after 3 days of pure beach action... including trying to get em on some rollar blades down venice beach... hahahaha!
