4th of July
Last night, we celebrated my mother's birthday and my parent's 25th wedding anniversary. We sponsored a mass and offered some stuff. Then, had some relatives over at the house, had dinner and renewed my parent's vows. The priest was also invited and when he left, my dad gave him a brand new bottle of cognac.
This morning, I told my mother that, for my 21st birthday, I wasn't going to have a party or any form of celebration just as long as they don't have a mass for me or ask me to go to church on that day.
She got mad, of course.
So I said, "11% na ang inflation rate."
