The problem with Christianity is essentially rooted on the baptism of infants who are in no condition to make sense of what is happening around them. The infant unknowingly pledges its life to this religion. As the child grows and attains some sense of consciousness, terms such as Sunday mass, holy days of obligation, guilt and morality are already deeply entrenched in the Being of the once infant that it accepts them as universal truths. Further on, as the child gets older and achieves a higher level of consciousness, it begins to doubt and becomes disillusioned. All those infants who were inadvertently made to devote their lives to a faith deserve this disillusionment.
I would like to say more but I just came home from the dumbest tradition ever (Visita Iglesia!!!) and I am fucking drained. That being said, I shall end with the words from an indie rock band that goes by the name of The Vaselines.
Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam,
Cause sunbeams are not made like me,
And don't expect me to cry,
For all the reasons you had to die,
Don't ever ask your love of me.
Don't expect me to lie,
Don't expect me to cry,
Don't expect me to die for thee.
