Wonderful story. I love that Vince has a place to go and that Eric actually cares when he asks if Vince is okay.

Oh, boys. They're such great bffs. You've caught Vince's voice here (I really liked him telling E's mom goodnight, it seemed very Vince-like when anyone else would've just stayed quiet) and E's mannerisms are crystal clear. I liked this. A lot! :)

Aww, I love boycuddling and surrogate families, so A++. There's not enough pre-series fic in this fandom, so that was also ace.
