I can't help but think about something slightly comedy, in a slightly non-pc way, that happens here...
We have these little components... they're about 1.5 by 1mm. Each end is metal plated for soldering to 2 pads of copper on the circuit board.
When we solder these, we do one end first, holding component in tweezers. But sometimes it goes wrong, which is what makes me laugh. The surface tension in the liquid solder (I think) can cause, when you're not holding the component correctly, some movement. It's called "Tombstoning" because the little things stand to attention. And it makes me laugh every time...
Other news/things... Thanks for putting up with me crashing at your house all the time Hills, I really appreciate it... and it makes me sad to see you rossless for ages at a time. And I'm sorry if I ever freak you out... I'll try to stop!
I'm going to try to get things done this weekend, for a few hours at least. Last weeks cinema has made me sad not to be using my projector... and has made me want a mexican hammock even more! Should have bought one in the spring... oops!
Yay, another camping weekend soon! Hope the rain is slightly less torrential this time! And I think I ought to take some more of my holiday from work - maybe the week after the bank hol camping trip. And really try to sort out the house wiring...
I'm off again now, until I can remember what else I was gonna say
