How does one go about getting a job on campus? I'm talking about coffee shops, library work, office filing stuff--anything entry-level that would be likely to be open to someone with pretty much zero experience. Is there someone I should be buddy-buddy with? Are there emails to send out? I wanna get the jump on this, since next quarter starts in about a month and a half, and the more I think about it the less I know about the job-getting process.
...I know that a lot of people are in the same bigass unemployment boat, but I also know that some people have had/are currently looking for jobs, so any advice you could give would totally rule. Thank yoooou <3
FTR I have a resume and have written cover letters before, but other than that I am totally lost. I don't even know where to apply first, on a college campus. My skills are...........
I--I have a sunny disposition? And I'm very punctual. I smell nice, I'm told. Once a crazy person I did not know said that my hair made him happy, so I suppose I have a way with people? ("A way" meaning "I don't know what that was about, but it was vaguely positive.")
Yeah I got nothing. Nothing but a WILL. And apparently that it worth something.
