Hooray!
The audition last night went really well, I thought--and hey, apparently the people in charge agree with me, because I got called back for some cold reads tonight at six! YESSS I am excited for these party times.
Also, something that interested me: after my monologue, the man I assume to be a director asked me what year I was. When I told him that I was a freshman, he seemed very surprised! I don't know if that's a good or bad thing (I want to think good, of course, but what can you do), but it does tell me that I stand out, if only because I am a baby. I hope that I am otherwise memorable, but I'll take what I can get at this point.
I just emailed my educational advisor, and hopefully I'll have an appointment scheduled within the week. Japanese 1 office hours tomorrow! The hits just keep on comin'.
