[Drama] Nagase's drama, set to start October 12th
Sponichi and Sanspo have put up articles on Nagase's new drama.
The drama will be on Thursdays at 10pm. It will cross between the 1960s and present day. Nagase will portray a film projection technician who lost his memory in WWII and that man's grandson. The tentative drama's title [Utahime] "Song Princess" refers to Nagase's character's daughter/mother. The whole drama will be in the Tosa dialect, as it takes place in Kochi-ken in Shikoku. Nagase says, "It is a wonderful drama and I am looking forward to playing this great role. I'd like to have a great time filming, as always, as well as send this great message to the viewers." The heroine is Aibu Saki. Also in the drama are Sato Ryuta, Kanjani's Okura Tadayoshi and Saito Yuki.
Looks like Nagase is having a serious drama this next season. I'm quite curious about this one now. But for the moment! Don't forget about Yamaguchi-kun's drama! Juken no Kamisama. It's honestly my personal favorite this season.
