wow hi! I have not posted in a very long time. I thought I would go ahead and do so and give you somewhat of an update. I'm married now, and I met my hubby online via the P.O.D. message board. He saw one of my posts, liked what I had to say, and saw my link to my xanga journal, and it all went from there.
Honestly, I never thought I was going to be married, and when God told me this back when I was 19, I thought he was crazy. God told me while I was in college that I was going to meet my future husband very soon and that he was going to be the next guy I met. When I was 20, I met Josh.
We eventually met at my dad's house (with my dad being there, along with Josh's mom) and I would say oh...10 or 11 months later we were married...I was 21 and he was 20. I especially never thought that I would come to meet my hubby via the internet, but it's funny how God works things out. I felt from the moment that I chatted with Josh that he was my (then future) husband.
I'm not going to discourage meeting your future spouce online, because it does happen. But I will say this. If God is not behind it, it will not work. The internet is dangerous, we all know this. That's why it's very important to make sure it is God's will, and that you have peace about it beforehand. In my case, God told me very clear that I was going to meet Josh via the internet.
We have now been married almost 2 years in December.
Anyway, I just wanted to encourage ya'll to continue to strive to keep God the center of all you do. When God's timing is right, you just know.
