So I haven't updated in awhile, and I'm getting ready to be gone for 4 days. That's right.... 4 days and no computer access. I may die.
Anywho...
Bridge Day.
It went well. For those of you who know...I was selling handmade scarves. I think
deadstar666 is the only one who actually knows what my scarves look like since I totally sent her one. haha. I made $55 which wasn't bad since it was 73 degrees. O.O Not exactly scarf weather. Oh well. That is about 2 tanks of gas for my trip tomorrow, so I'm okay with it.
I got sunburned on my face and have been feeling dry and lizard-y ever since. I have tried both of the expensive estee lauder lotions that my mom bought me two months ago. They helped a little, but not the A LOT that I was going for.
I am not going to go into everything that I did, but I managed to meet the governor and his wife down underneath the bridge, and that was pretty darn cool. I also met the guy who designed the WV state quarter, and that was neat too.
I am scrambling today getting everything done before this other lady comes here to fill in for me at the library. I am getting all the books checked in, shelved, dusting, vaccuuming, straightening, and anything else that I can think of. I am also cleaning out my car at the same time. :/ I have 2 more hours being open here in the library and then I can close the doors and REALLY get down to business. I will be working on solo's for the RP and keeping an ongoing log of my experiences driving to NC and staying in a haunted hotel and being a bridesmaid for the first time.
I'm a little nervous at the moment. The only person I know in the wedding party is the bride. I know of two people coming to the wedding who I am friends with, so I may have someone to talk to. If not I will be in full blown attention-seeking Gryffindor mode, and I may run the risk of annoying myself. (Or as has been pointed out to me.....annoying the ghosts in the hotel into moving on to the afterlife.)
Whenever I find my camera cord...I will upload my pictures from Bridge Day and the wedding pictures that I will be taking. :)
Later all!
