Who: Darcy Schumacher and Leonard McCoy
What: The OCD Lt. Cmmdr. visits with the CMO for a second time
Where: Observation Deck
Darcy hadn't been expecting anyone trying to contact her, however of all people, the CMO seemed the most likely since they had done some talking. She was in her lab working when the message interrupted her. She finished the equations she was working on, trying to map out the exact distance between a planet and it's moon, but thanks to a nearby anomaly, the readings were coming in wrong. She was now doing it by hand. Afterwards, she checked her PADD, in case it was an emergency - which it wasn't. The reply would wait until after her shift.
She did reply on her way out of the lab about an hour and a half later, letting him know that she would have some time before she had to eat and that the observation deck would be fine. She had no idea what he wanted to talk to her about, or if he even wanted to really talk, but she went with it for now since it was going to a be a long lonely five years if she didn't at least have some human interaction.
Darcy arrived exactly on time, which was apparently before him. She stood in the center of the room, staring out at the viewing window, mentally mapping the stars she could see, figuring out which ones were something she'd already mapped and finding which was something she needed to work on next.
