It's time to begin the hunt.
The six word sentence caused Chekov's face to turn into a big ol' grin and before he knew it, he had arrived at Sulu's door. Once he'd been given the okay from Hikaru to come in, he stepped inside and gave his friend a once-over glance. The helmsman was ready for action and then some.
"Wow," Pavel voiced, staring down at his bland choice of outfit for the job. He'd only managed to put together a combination of his uniform bottoms, boots, and a Starfleet zip-up fleece that was of a dark gray hue. Hardly a match to Sulu's full on belts, flashlights, glasses, and other gizmos. "I am not sure if I'm under-prepared or if you have gone owerboard. Are you sure that will not make too much noise?"

"Hmm..." he said, looking back up at Chekov, who wasn't doing a very good job of not grinning. "You have a point. Here..." he said, unclipping all the dangling gadgets and handing the pile to Chekov. "It'd be much better if you carried these. Don't worry," he added with a hidden smile as he rummaged through a storage compartment for the fanny pack, "I have a nice little utility bag you can put them in."

"I don't remember wolunteering to be your pack mule," he joked, looking around for a surface to set the gear down on while Sulu retrieved the promised bag. After successfully doing locating a desk, he caught sight of some snacks poking out of one of the packs. "Ooh. Are you going to eat those chips?"

Ah, Chekov has found the snacks. "Those are for you," he called over his shoulder, "But don't eat them all in one sitting!"
Hikaru swung the panel door away from the access point and peeked inside the opening. It smelled musty, and the passage was very narrow, but it was big enough for the slim-built hunting party to squeeze through among the ducts, pipes, and cables lining the interior. The tops of the inner bulkheads didn't meet the ceiling, so that all the inner spaces were connected.
"It doesn't look too bad in there, guys" Hikaru said.

"Uh, Mr. Sulu?" He had never really met the Chief Helmsman, but was aware of his off duty hobby of martial arts and botany, and now apparently in stealth action.
"I, uh, got your message to help..." Sanjay spoke, and motioned back in the hallway, "Should I get anything? I mean, I didn't think I had to change out of my uniform." He paused briefly as a thought came to him, "Are you going to fit through the wall wearing all that?"

"Hello, Mr. Singh!" Hikaru greeted warmly. The meek engineer looked a little bewildered. Perhaps I am a little overdressed if I'm scaring the ensigns.
"No, I don't suppose we need anything else," Hikaru said wryly, looking at his gear, "unless you can think of any engineering tools we'd need. I have flashlights for each of you," he said, "and since Mr. Chekov is the bearer of the fanny pack utility belt, you, Mr. Singh, will have the honor of carrying the net!"

With a shake of his head, Sanjay pulled out his PADD and tapped it to bring up a blueprint of the wall. "If we move the paneling over there," He motioned with a nod, "we should be able to enter without worrying about wires initially." He looked back at the two men, "Mr. Sulu, do you have any clue as to what it could be?"
