Pretty un-eventful week here. The best part- Matt surprised me by coming home :) He was supposed to work overtime this weekend but he decided he'd rather see me, awww!

My sister's boyfriend broke up with her this week :( I don't know how much of a surprise it was, but it was kind of surprising to me. She was so happy with him and is completely heartbroken. I'm having a hard time consoling her because I've never been in this situation. Matt was my first and only boyfriend and we've never broken up. She's blaming herself and feeling stupid for letting him in completely. I can't get her to understand that shutting someone out doesn't lead to a successful relationship either. I just want her to be happy. ((Jen))

So I want to hear from you. What makes your relationship successful? What do you think you and your significant other can work on? Why do some relationships fail when one party thinks everything is perfect?

For Matt and I, communication is key. We also don't smother each other. We can go out and do our own thing during the day and then come together at the end of the day be together. I like spending time with him, but I don't have to be with him every second of every day, nor would I want to be (haha love you baby!). While we communicate well, there are still the occasional issues. We have to remember to always keep our hearts and minds open to one another and to truly listen to what the other is saying.

Finals are this week, yikes! Please let me pass, please let me pass *prays to the academic gods*

And now... more World of Warcraft!
