This has been a particularly long week for no real reason. Honestly as I sit here I don't even really remember what I did. Is that sad?
I worked Monday, stayed til 5 when I'm supposed to get off at 3. I was trying to finish something up but couldn't through no fault of my own. I have to talk to my boss tomorrow. I'm over it.
Matt come home on Tuesday. We hung out at home and had dinner with Hard at Qdoba, yum!
Wednesday Matt and I went to Eastwood with Rene, Charlotte, and Noah. We had lunch and walked around a bit. The weather changed really quickly this year. It went from like 80 to 50 overnight... brrr!
Thursday I made yummy bbq chicken for dinner and Matt had to go home. I'm not sure when he's coming back and I'm bummed :( But I've got lots to keep my busy.
Friday I worked like normal. Hard and I took a rode trip to South Haven on our way to Abby's birthday party in Kalamazoo. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. It was so nice to have a chance to reconnect and bond and catch up. And besides, there's not many people I could sit in the car with for 5 hours and sing cheesy 90's pop songs. The party was a blast too... now I just have to put my order together.
Came to South Haven again on Saturday after taking Meg back to Lansing Friday night. My weekend has been filled with a whole lot of nothing, which is nice. Just football of course. There was a boat explosion on the river today. Four people are in the hospital, 3 boats burned, and 3 others have heat damage. We walked down by the river to see. It's scary. No word on the conditions of the injured but I hope everyone survives. I can't even imagine.
Back to work tomorrow, must muster up to courage to talk to my boss.
