One of the questions on sign up is the pairing I plan to write, but if I do drabbles does that mean I can do more than 1 pairing?

Most stories have a main pairing, but we've gotten a number of submissions that have multiple pairings or even pairings that aren't a major focus, so that's not by any means a sticking point. There's no limit on the number of pairings you can put in your fic.

I know it says a minimum of five stories with each being 2K, but can their be more than five stories?

Yes, there can be as many stories as you want; the minimum is five. Beyond that, write as many as you like!

Please try and open the post again and let me know if you have the same problem. If you do, then I'll talk to Zoey and see if we can figure out what the problem is. I'm very sorry! D:

The only other time I've seen big bangs employ a big bang and mini bang portion is when they are allowing this, and I really love it. I know the deancasbigbang does it, whether an author can sign up for the big bang or mini bang, and upgrade/downgrade between the two if needed.
I think it would be really great if here the 5 ficlet minimum could be dropped, and authors could just be allowed to write a shorter 10k story for the minibang if they want.

However, we are taking that into consideration for next years (which hopefully we'll all work out so the schedules are different). Thank you so much!

As far as what fic gets what art, I feel like that would be best left up to the writer and artist, y'know? Whatever works for one pair may not work for another; we're trying very hard not to overimpose too many limits on participants so that the whole creative process can go as smoothly and unhindered as possible.
Basically, if we don't require one piece of art per chapter of a Big Bang, we wouldn't require one piece of art per ficlet of a Minibang, either. Does that make sense?
