BETA SIGN UPS
Beta sign ups are being taken on livejournal OR on our Tumblr!
IMPORTANT L'IL TIDBITS
1. Beta sign ups are running the same time as artist ones. We're taking what we can get!
2. A beta's main job is to read over the work of an author and catch plot mistakes, grammatical/spelling errors, or anything else you can see that needs a little bit of fixing!
3. You can sign up on Livejournal or on the Tumblr. We just ask that, should you sign up on Tumblr, you provide us with the email that you'll be using so that we can contact you!
4. Signing up as a beta doesn't necessarily ensure that you'll be beta-ing--some writers actually prefer to have someone close to them read their work
5. Author's works MUST be beta'd before it's posted so please, if you sign up as a beta, make sure that you are available!
6. There's a community for author's/betas to communicate-- We Are the Alphas Now on Tumblr. It is password protected so make sure that you get the password!
7. Though we're asking you to let us know if you have a valid email, that doesn't mean you have to post what it is. On Tumblr you can do it privately, so if you sign up there you can give it to us and it won't be posted. However, if you sign up on LJ, you don't need to post the address-- we can DM you on LJ for questions and that way you can give your email out to just an author if you prefer.
