Monday randomness
In no particular order:
- Thank God, it's finally stopped raining!
- The Titans are 0-3. WTF?! It's something new each week. I actually chose to mow the yard instead of watching the rest of the game.
- After watching last week's episode, I went online and found the first 3 episodes of Glee. I'm hooked. :)
- Finding To Wong Foo... in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart made me very happy last week.
- Lin and I went to my Uncle George's and Aunt Marty's 50th wedding anniversary Saturday night. It was nice to see the various in-laws and outlaws of the family for a happy reason for a change. It was the first family gathering without Aunt Maxie, so it was bittersweet.
- I really wanted to like Dollhouse last season because I'm a huge Joss Whedon fan, but Season 2 may have started to pull me in. The only problem is that the character that fascinates me the most is only going to appear in the first 3 episodes. :(
- I tried and ultimately failed to read Abyss. I read the Force Ghost Mara scene, got pissed and decided it wasn't worth wasting my time.
- Going to start reading Blood Sins this week.
- I'm not sold on the new Batgirl comic yet. Memo to DC Comics, I'm tired of emo, bitchy Barbara now. Either write her correctly or leave her alone. Better yet, give her back to Gail Simone to write. I'm sure that Gail could figure out a way to work Babs into Wonder Woman or Secret Six if given the opportunity.
