Are any of you reading the dp4m retirement / let's-name-names-and-go-out-in-a-blaze-of-glory thread in Lit? *head desk* I agree that something must be done to change the culture in Lit, but this was not the way to do it.
John Ostrander, bless his heart, is posting in this thread trying to bring light to the wilderness. The thread is typical Lit...some thoughtful, topical posts followed by 3 pages of poorly-veiled flames and axe-grinding by the usual suspects. It's a good example of why I rarely post over there.
I stumbled on this today, and it's just too damn perfect.
